Reading council to hold spring meeting in Sparta

SPARTA — The Northwest Jersey Reading Council will have its spring meeting on Thursday, April 3, at 4:30 p.m. at the Sparta Middle School library.
Mary Lou Kowalski, English teacher from Bayonne High School, will speak on a topic, entitled, "Inviting Everyone: Writing as a Reading Strategy." She will address how teachers can help students write well about what they have read.
Teachers, school administrators, and parents interested in literacy education are invited.
