The third grade along with their soaked administrators
Hamburg The third grade students at Hamburg School were challenged by the school superintendent, Roger Jinks, and vice principal Patrick Ketch to read 1,000 books before the end of the school year.
The reward for all that hard work? The administrators told the students that if they met the challenge they could dunk them in a dunk tank.
The students read more than the required 1,000 books and the rest is history wet history but history nonetheless in the eyes of 29 third grade students.
The two administrators were dunked numerous times by the students and then all were treated to a picnic including a celebratory cake.
