Ogdensburg plans candidates night

Ogdensburg. The borough's Historicalf Society will host its annual candidate's night.

    The Ogdensburg Historical Society will host its annual “Candidates’ Night” on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. in the Ogdensburg Firehouse at 1 Firehouse Lane.

    All members of the public are welcome to attend and meet the candidates running for office. Incumbents Parker Space (R), and Hal Wirths (R), are being challenged by Deana Lykins (D) and Dan Soloman (D) for two seats - two-year term - in the NJ 24th Assembly District. Incumbent and uncontested Sussex County Sheriff candidate Michael Strada (R) is seeking his fourth, three-year term. Candidates Sylvia Petillo (R) and Anthony Fasano (R) are campaigning for the two, three-year Sussex County Freeholder seats.

    Ogdensburg council candidates Anthony Nasisi (R), and Brenda O’Dell (R) are running to fill the two Council seats. Candidates Jennifer Gough and Josh Conklin are running for the two seats on the Ogdensburg Board of Education. The program will include a Q&A session.
