Lakeland Bank appoints new officers

OAK RIDGE — Thomas J. Shara, president and chief executive officer of Lakeland Bank, has announced the following appointments to the Commercial Lending team.

George Darren Hrobuchak has been named assistant treasurer, portfolio manager, Commercial Lending Montville Team. Hrobuchak has more than 12 years of mortgage and banking experience, most recently with First Hope Bank in Sparta in the commercial credit department. Before that, he was with Champion Mortgage in Parsippany in the residential underwriting department. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, N.J. Hrobuchak served on the Denville Fire Department, Valley View Company No. 3 for eight years and is a volunteer for the Denville Rotary. Hrobuchak resides in Parsippany, N.J.

David May has been named vice president, commercial real estate loan officer with the Commercial Lending Wyckoff Team. May has 14 years of experience in banking and commercial lending, most recently with Freedom Bank in Maywood. Previously, he worked at NVE Bank in Englewood and Oritani Bank in the Township of Washington. A graduate of Felician College, May holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational management and marketing. He is a member of the N.J. Apartment Association, N.J. Mortgage Bankers Association, Property Owners Association of N.J., Young Mortgage Bankers Association and Young Real Estate Professionals of N.Y. and N.J. A resident of Mahwah, May is commissioner of Mahwah Youth Tennis and a member of the Mahwah Blue Ribbon Committee.

Jeffrey Wichman has been named vice president, commercial real estate loan officer with the Commercial Lending Bernardsville Team. Wichman has 29 years of banking experience, most recently with Heritage Community Bank in Randolph, N.J., as first vice president commercial lending. Prior to that, he was chief operating officer with Saddle River Valley Bank from 2005 to 2012. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Wittenberg University, Springfield, Ohio and holds an MBA in finance from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. Wichman is a resident of Rockaway Township.
