Jefferson fireworks scheduled for July 12

OAK RIDGE — In conjunction with the 28th annual Jefferson Township Day celebration, a huge aerial fireworks display will be presented by Interstate Fireworks Company on the fields at the Jefferson Township High School, 1010 Weldon Road, Oak Ridge, on Saturday, July 12.

The fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m. following a two-hour concert featuring Tequila Rose at 7:30 p.m.

Free admission until 5:30 p.m. to the other activities on the fields of the high school, then only $2 per adult and $1 per child at all gates. Free parking all day and evening and handicap parking with decal. No alcohol, no drugs, no fireworks, no bicycles, no dogs/pets, and no large coolers allowed.

Bring a lawn chair or a blanket for comfortable seating under the stars.
