Heaven Hill Farm holds Easter contest

Racing to be the first to arrive at the waiting Easter eggs.

Easter Bonnet Contest winners in the adult and childrenþÄôs categories were from left Michael Stickley Jr., 5, of Hamburg (3rd), Kerry Tobin of Highland Lakes (2nd), Ozzie Tobin, 9, of Highland Lakes (1st), Hope Foley of Hawthorne (1st), Tina Zancha of Dingmans Ferry, Pa. (3rd), and Audrey Foster, 5, from Milford, Pa. (2nd).
VERNON — Saturday afternoon saw what appeared to be a record turnout for the annual Easter holiday event held at Heaven Hill Farm. The afternoon included four free egg hunt sessions and an Easter Bonnet contest.
A record 50-plus people entered the contest.
At least 1,000 children and their families came to enjoy the fresh air, view the farm animals, and ride the various carnival-type rides.
