HAMBURG — Crossroads Assembly of Gold held a tree-planting service on Sunday, July 20, during outdoor worship on the lawn.
The occasion was "Celebrating the Past/Embracing the Future", officiated by Pastor Bryce Curtis, whose message is offered online: www.crossroadshamburg.com.
His wife, Kaydee, and deacons, followed by attendees, broke ground, digging completed by a backhoe, to prepare for the Sugar Maple Tree. In attendance was Marion Wood of Hamburg Historical Society who generously supplied the church history in her book, "All About Hamburg."
