Fundraiser for Sussex County Crimestoppers April 29

The annual Spring Reception for Sussex County Sheriff’s Crimestoppers is Wednesday, April 29 at the Farmstead Golf & Country Club in Lafayette.

Organizations, companies, families and individuals are invited to attend the Annual Sussex County Sheriff’s Crimestopper’s Spring Reception Wednesday, April 29. The fundraiser is runs from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Farmstead Golf & Country Club in Lafayette.

Four people will be honored during the event: Dawn Flanders of Sussex County Community College, Comet Security owner Craig Thompson, Crimestoppers Board Member Sabine Watson and Sussex County Clerk Jeff Parrott.

Crimestoppers is a non-profit organization that offers citizens direct, confidential access to law enforcement. Citizens who have information about a crime or wanted persons can call a 24-hour hotline 973-300-CRIME or go to www.sussexcountysheriff.com to anonymously report what they know. Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment (as opposed to conviction) of criminals.
