Free mammograms to be offered to eligible women

NEWTON — Project Self-Sufficiency and the Newton Medical Center Foundation are teaming up to offer free mammograms to eligible women on Thursday, May 29, at Project Self-Sufficiency.
To receive a free mammogram, women must be uninsured or underinsured and over the age of 40. Mammograms will be offered by appointment only, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Funding for the free mammograms is provided by the Newton Medical Center Foundation.
