Franklin students observe Hour of Code

Third-grade students Jessyca Schlereth and Noah DeRenzo are shown coding with both Elsa from Frozen and Steve from Minecraft.

Second-grade students Keylee Ramirez and Mary Patti are shown helping the Fuzz Balls move through the maze in the app Kodable.
FRANKLIN — Students in Kelly Fedynich’s Enrichment class at Franklin Borough School were excited to celebrate Hour of Code week with schools all around the world.
Students in every grade participated and used computers and tablets to code.
Both www.tynker.com and www.code.org were popular for the older students. Younger students enjoyed apps such as Kodable. Students celebrated Hour of Code week to learn more about computer programming.
