Troop R Camp Cadet, a program of the Pennsylvania State Police, was held at Marywood University from July 21 to 26. The weeklong overnight camp for kids ages 12 to 15 teaches all aspects of law enforcement. This year more than 220 applicants participated, and for the first time in camp history had close to a 50/50 ratio of boys and girls. The camp, now in its 32nd year, is open to kids who live in Lackawanna, Wayne, Pike, and Susquehanna counties. For more information visit trooprcampcadet.com. (Facebook photo)
