Vernon's newest farmers, Candice and Steve Maclean offered a 100 percent grass-fed pig that was roasted and soaked in apples. They were paired with Chef Jonathan Pacheco of Crystal Tavern, a part of Crystal Springs Resort. The farm will be offering fresh beef, park, turkey, and chicken.

Freshly roasted pork was just one of hundreds of different food offerings available for visitors at the Eighth Annual New Jersey Wine & Food Festival at Crystal Springs Resort.

Gene Ventimiglia, owner of Wantage's family-owned Ventimiglia Vineyard, visited with the visiting food vendors and offered some of his favorite Sussex County wines.

Longtime Vernon residents Lori and Louie Fitamant came for the wine and various food offerings during the Marketplace Lunch on Saturday afternoon.

Mark Cacace of Wantage's Ventimiglia Vineyard listens to questions by a visitor interested in the vineyard and its fine wines. The winery's offerings seemed to be very much appreciated, especially their sweet white wine.
