Doctors attend fall summit

    Peter Karas DC and Michael Hallacker DC took part in the ANJC Fall Summit on Oct. 22 attending a continuing education class on Assessment and Rehabilitation of the shoulder.
    The class was taught by Dr. Dale Buchberger who is a Chiropractor, Physical Therapist. and Strength and Conditioning Specialist. The shoulder is the third most commonly injured area of the body behind the low back and neck. The lecture covered causes from falls to sports related injuries, examination of the rotator cuff and gleno-humeral joint and rehabilitation exercises including stabilizing, stretching and strengthening. " Examination and treatment techniques are constantly evolving. Our goal is to keep our patients out of surgery and off drugs by helping them heal their injury and make weak mechanics in the joint stronger."
