Dance Expression Dance Arts students performed at the annual Hardyston Day event on Saturday, Sept. 21 at Wheatsworth Field to show their support for their community and share their love of dance.

Dancer’s ages 7-18 years performed hip-hop, jazz, tap and ballet numbers and brought smiles to the faces of everyone in the audience.

“Hardyston Day is one of our favorite events," Director Lisa SimkoSchumann said. "I grew up in Hardyston and attended Hardyston Elementary School and Franklin High School. After college and a successful career as a dancer and performer I returned to my community, my home in Hardyston, to open DEDA in 1987. This is Dance Expression dance arts 33rd year of offering quality dance education and sharing the love of dance with all our students and I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate it then to perform at Hardyston Day 2019."
