Crystal Springs introduces golf bikes

Crystal Springs Resort recently introduced Golf Bikes to its courses.

“We’ve seen great success with our other initiatives to drive new audiences to the golf greens with the Resort’s Family Golf Programs, unique events like the 9 & Dines and Swing & Sips and being the first to offer FootGolf in the Northeast,” said Art Walton, vice president of Crystal Springs. “So it seemed like a natural fit to bring Golf Bikes to the courses as well.”

For those looking for a more active workout during their 9 or 18-holes of play, Golf Bikes offers a unique alternative to utilizing a traditional golf cart. Equipped with storage slots for clubs and a built-in cooler, the Golf Bike provides everything a golfer needs to navigate the links.

Crystal Springs has Golf Bikes available for reservation on three out of the Resort’s six courses, and is looking to expand in numbers as the new form of transportation grows in popularity.

“The initial response has been incredible so far,” Walton said. “The Golf Bikes are a conversation starter. Resort guests see players ride by on them and are curious to learn more and try them out. Next year, we’ll look to introduce a speed golf program that utilizes the bikes to get around the course in record time.”
