Three new board members — Shawn Steffens, Shain Steffens and Jaime Sella — were named to the Board of Directors of the Center for Prevention and Counseling.

Shawn and Shain Steffens are brothers who share a dedication to their families and to giving back to the community.

They are co-owners of Steffens & Steffens Financial Advisory Services in Byram and are both outdoor enthusiasts. Jaime is involved with various non-profit organizations, including the Fresh Air Fund and Cross-Cultural Solutions, which is an international volunteer program that helps people in impoverished countries.

As The Center enters its 40th year, the agency is focused on becoming known to the public not only as addiction professionals but also as the place to turn to for help in moving from poverty to prosperity, creating healthy youth, building strong families, and reducing bullying of all kinds.
