Author visits Franklin school

FRANKLIN — Author, Joe Shandrowski, captured the students’ attention at Franklin Borough School with an interactive theater performance using a light show, sound effects, 3-D stage props, music, movement and cartoon illustrating.
The program focused on the connection between how reading is essential to develop a “thinking-out-of-the-box” imagination for effective creative writing.
The author visit was paid for by a grant from the Franklin Education Foundation.
