    March is National Nutrition Month.

    Recognizing this theme, the dietitians at Vernon Nutrition Center, with offices in Ramsey and Franklin, will celelbrate by helping their clients focus on small bites or changes they can take each day to improve their overall health and nutrition.

    Instead of focusing on fad diets or dramatic changes that can be hard to stick with, they focus on taking an individualized approach and meeting each client where they are.

    A change as simple as walking an additional 100 steps per day or using one less teaspoon of butter can lead to major results over time, said Erin Palinski-Wade, owner of Vernon Nutrition Center and author of Belly Fat Diet For Dummies and 2 Day Diabetes Diet.
