HARDYSTON — Hundreds flocked to Cava Winery and Vineyard for wine, food, exceptional music, dancing and camaraderie on Saturda.
According to Cava’s Chief Operating Officer Larry Ciccarelli, about 700 patrons turned out for the afternoon and evening event. Three musical acts played throughout the day including the eight-piece band “The Uptown Getdowns,” who performed the last set for the day and included a horn section to compliment the standard quintet. The winery now has extended its Saturday hours until 8 p.m. each evening.
Musical offerings on Saturdays tend to be more upbeat and louder in volume. Sundays, which are the slower and more intimate of the two days feature more mellow music offerings. Whichever music you prefer, the bands will now be performing from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. each weekend.
More information about the winery can be found at www.cavawinery.com.
