Little donors raise big money

Students of Vernon Valley Karate Academy raised more than $2,000 during a kick-a-thon they called Give a Kick for a Homeless Pet. They donated the money to Vernon’s animal control officer Tom Maellaro. Sensei Tom Shull, owner of Vernon Valley Karate Academy, and his wife Trudy Randall ran the program.
