Learning about their history

Second-graders at Franklin Borough School completed their first research reports recently. In conjunction with a social studies unit, the students investigated the countries of their ancestors’ origin. The children used the library, the Internet and got help from home to write a report and create a country flag. After reports were presented and a song from the region was performed, the children enjoyed an all-around-the-world feast.
