Vernon Pack 183 celebrated Arbor Day by checking up on the butterfly garden they planted last May at Veterans Memorial Park on the Flats. Last Friday, 21 Scouts weeded and mulched the garden and planted a new tree. Vernon Mayor Sally Rinker also made an appearance to assist in the planting.
