K-8 summer science programs offered at High Point
SUSSEX COUNTY-Wildcat Discovery, a summer science adventure, is accepting registrations for the 2005 season. Activities include electric dragster construction, model plane design, outdoor recreation, live animal presentations, nature studies, and more. A newly designed "High Point Crime Scene Investigators," program will be offered for the first time this year. Classes are hands-on and extremely interactive. The emphasis is on having fun in a safe, supportive, and interesting environment. Equal treatment is given to all participants. Camp for children entering grades 1-3 run in one week sessions from July 18-Aug. 5. Camp for children entering grades 4-9 run in one-week sessions from July 11 - Aug. 12. Program operators say fees are reasonable and discounts are given for multiple weeks of registration and sibling attendance.
