Job fair today

Franklin — A job fair will be held Oct. 15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Little Center, under the auspices of Sussex County One Stop, New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. This is the ninth annual fall fair at the Franklin offices. The event draws job seekers and companies from two contiguous states, and nearby Morris, Warren, Passaic and Bergen counties The goal is to have 60 to 80 companies and/or non-profits on site conducting interviews. Students and job seekers should dress appropriately and bring 40 or more copies of their resumes with them. Weightman says he expects 50 to 60 companies and some 600 job seekers to attend. Companies participating are asked to pay $30, payable to Hardyston Recreation.
