VERNON-Laura L. Jecker of Century 21 Gross & Jansen has completed a specialized course in international referrals developed by the International Consortium of Real Estate Associations (ICREA). ICREA is an alliance of 24 national real estate associations, representing more than two million real estate professionals worldwide, and $25 trillion of GDP. The only organization of its kind, ICREA is dedicated to the international promotion of its members' businesses. It has had great success in building a partnership that is improving the way is transacted across national borders. ICREA members include national real estate associations in Mexico, South America, Europe, Ireland, India, and New Zealand. Jecker is the first real estate professional in New Jersey to complete the Transnational Referral Certification. Only a few hundred worldwide are certified. "It is a wonderful organization that will benefit my present and future clients with purchasing investment properties in other countries, and clients moving into the United States from abroad," said Jecker. "I have a network of two million agents through ICREA worldwide that I can refer my clients to for assistance and guidance outside the United States." Jecker is a member of the National Association of Realtors, New Jersey Association of Realtors, Sussex County Association of Realtors, Garden State Multiple Listing Service, Certified Residential Specialists, Women's Council of Realtors (national and local NJ chapter).
