Augusta — Van den Heuvel & Fountain Insurance Agency, formerly of Branchville, held its annual food drive for two local Branchville churches for the Thanksgiving holiday. The agency will continue to collect food through Dec. 8 at its new location on Route 206 in Augusta. In business for more than 80 years, the company prides itself on a long-standing policy of “giving back to the community” and has done so over the last several years with food drives. “This year when more people need help, the agency is continuing the food drive through December and is asking the residents of Sussex County to help,” said Patricia McMickle, the company’s food drive chairperson. Non-perishable food can be dropped off at the office, 122 Route 206 in Augusta Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
