Info for school board candidates

TRENTON — The New Jersey School Boards Association will sponsor a briefing session for Northern Region school board candidates, including Sussex County, on Tuesday, March 9, at 7 p.m. at Parsippany High School, located at 309 Baldwin Road. Candidates will receive information on what to expect if they are elected to office during the Annual School Election, which is slated for April 20. The briefings will cover issues such as school policy, administration, finance and budgeting, collective bargaining and community relations, as well as relations among the board, superintendent and staff.
