Helping others

March was Community Service month at Franklin Borough School. Deven Wylie and Isabelle Stecher were among the many students and staff who helped collect 14 boxes of food to donate to NORWESCAP food pantries. Students also collected many large bags full of clothes that will be donated to Habitat for Humanity. GREAT (Gang Resistance Education and Training) projects include collecting gently worn clothes and stuffed animals to be donated to those in need. Some students also focused on the crisis in animal shelters and are collecting food, towels and bedding for our furry friends.
