Helping others

Eric Smuda, 10, and his brother, Michael, 6, from Sparta, raised $41.25 Labor Day weekend to do their part in helping the victims of Hurricane Katrina. The money raised by the Smuda brothers was donated to the Sussex County Red Cross for relief efforts in the effected areas. For the past two weeks, children throughout Sparta have engaged in similar projects in an effort to help those in need.
