Hardyston Police

September 18 At 7 p.m., Hardyston police responded to a hit and run accident in the parking lot of Tony's Pizza, located on Route 23, in Stockholm. According to the investigation, the accident took place between 7 and 7:20 p.m. The suspect vehicle was described as a 1980s style gray or white van with a ladder on the back. Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt. Gordon of the Hardyston Police Department at 973-827-2220. September 20 Police received a report of a vehicle stolen from a local business. The investigation revealed that Edward A. Zubl, took the vehicle without the owner's consent. Zubl later crashed the vehicle in Sussex. Zubl was arrested and processed. He was released pending a court date in the Hardsyton Township.
