Dec. 27 At 10 a.m., a 1998 Ford that was being operated by Caitlyn A. McKenzie, 23, of Hamburg, was stopped on Route 23 after a computer inquiry revealed that her driving privileges were suspended. After a brief roadside investigation, she was arrested for several outstanding warrants. McKenzie was transported to the Hamburg Police Station, where she was released after posting $1,100 bail. She was also issued summonses for driving while suspended and failure to exhibit documents. Patrolman Andrew Chase investigated the incident. At 8:09 p.m., Hamburg Police arrested Walter J. Strick Jr., 30, of Hamburg, on a child support warrant while police officers were at his residence for an unrelated investigation. He was transported to the Sussex County Jail, where he was lodged pending an appearance in Superior Court. Sgt. Erik Aronson investigated the incident, and was assisted by Patrolman Andrew Chase.
