September 15 At 2:28 a.m., Hamburg police responded to a residence after receiving a report of a domestic violence assault. The investigation led to the arrest of Stacey Marone, 29, and Michael Marone, 43, both of Hamburg who were charged with simple assault and released pending an appearance in the Hamburg Municipal Court. Patrolman David McNulty investigated and assisted by Franklin Police Patrolman C. Duma At 10:55 p.m , Hamburg police responded to a private residence after receiving a report by the homeowners that a party was being held at their residence without their permission, while they were away. The investigation led to the arrest of Joshua N. Scherl. 22, of Denville and Matthew J Hennessy, 19, of Wantage, for serving alcoholic beverages to persons under 21 years of age. Both were released pending an appearance in the Hamburg Municipal Court. Patrolmen David McNulty and Erik Aronson Investigated the incident
