    Arrest made after domestic violence investigation On Monday, April 13 at 6:29 p.m., Hamburg Police were dispatched to a reported domestic violence incident on Card Street. Investigation led to the arrest of Dawn M. Ashley, 22, of Hamburg, for violations under the Prevention of Domestic Violence Act, after it was determined that she became involved in a physical altercation with her boyfriend, which resulted in him sustaining a visible injury. She was transported to the Hamburg Police Station, where she was charged with simple assault and harassment. She was released on her own recognizance, pending an appearance in the Hamburg Municipal Court. Patrolman David McNulty investigated the incident, and was assisted by Sgt. Erik Aronson and Patrolman Andrew Chase.
