On Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 4:12 p.m., Hamburg Police were dispatched to a shoplifter at Rite Aid Pharmacy. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of Theresa M. Budzinski, 39, for shoplifting after it was determined that she concealed store items inside of a tote bag for sale at the store, and removed the price tag from the tote bag. She was transported to the Hamburg Police Station, where she was charged with a disorderly persons offense of shoplifting. Budzinski was released from custody pending an appearance in the Hamburg Municipal Court. Sgt. Erik Aronson investigated the incident.
