    Fight alongside Route 23 leads to multiple charges On Saturday, Oct. 17, at 8:50 p.m., Hamburg Police were dispatched to a reported fight alongside Route 23. Investigation led to the arrest of Rosean J. Boyd, 34, of Hamburg, for simple assault, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and harassment, after he fought with a juvenile at the residence and damaged a window to a house during the fight. Boyd was lodged in the Sussex County Jail in default of $7,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in the Hamburg Municipal Court on Nov. 5. A 16-year-old Hamburg male was also charged, as investigation revealed that he also fought with Boyd and struck him in the head with a broken wooden banister. The juvenile was charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and harassment. The juvenile is in the custody of his mother, and will appear in Family Court in Newton. Sgt Erik Aronson investigated the incident.
