H1N1 flu mist vaccine at A&P

Sussex — A&P stores in Sussex and Vernon will offer H1N1 Flu Mist ® vaccine on Saturday, Nov. 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Additionally, through Nov. 24, the Sussex A&P store will hold clinics every Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and the Vernon A&P store will hold clinics every Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. The fee for the flu mist is $15. The Sussex A&P is located at 455 Route 23 North. The Vernon A&P is located at 515 Unit 1. Criteria for receiving the vaccine are: • Healthy persons aged 2-49 • Can not have active asthma or active wheezing • Can not be pregnant • Can not have allergies to eggs • Can not have any diseases (i.e., cancer, lupus, or HIV/AIDS) • Can not take a medication that lowers the body’s resistance to infection
