Franklin Police

Sept. 20 On Sept. 20, at approximately 12:46 p.m. Patrolmen Seamus Geddis and William Grissom of the Franklin Borough Police Department responded to a hang-up 911 call in Franklin Borough. Upon arrival, officers were advised of a female who had run into the attic when they arrived. The officers went into the residence and found 24-year-old Nicole Facciolo hiding in the attic. She was arrested and charged with theft, hindering apprehension and criminal mischief. She was processed and lodged in the Sussex County Jail in lieu of $ 7,000 bail until she can appear in Franklin Municipal Court. Sept. 26 On Sept. 26, at approximately 6:55 p.m. Patrolman Seamus Geddis along with the Hamburg Police Department attempted to serve a warrant in Hamburg. Further investigation lead to the arrest of 31-year-old Catherine Babcock on a Warrant from the Sussex County Superior Court. Babcock was processed and transported to the Sussex County Jail. She had failed to appear for a previous court hearing on charges that she had obtained prescription drugs by fraud.
