FRANKLIN POLICE

On July 17, at approximately 8:20 p.m., Franklin Police responded to a residence on Main Street for an investigation after a wanted individual was seen entering the apartment. Investigation resulted in the arrest of 26-year-old Harold L. Schnorr IV of Matamoras, pa., on a no-bail warrant out of the New Jersey State parole for a parole violation. Schnorr was subsequently lodged in the Sussex County Jail on no bail, pending transfer to the State Parole. Officer Ryan Churchwell investigated and was assisted by Officer Jeff Korger. On July 13, at about 10:45 p.m., Franklin Police responded to the area of Maple Road for the report of a male knocking on doors asking for help. Investigation revealed that he had visible signs of injury after allegedly being assaulted by his girlfriend, 25-year-old Bayane Varoqua of Franklin. She was later arrested and charged with simple assault under the prevention of Domestic Violence Act and was lodged in the Sussex County Jail in lieu of $500 bail.
