Franklin gets award for 2010 e-calendar

Franklin — Municipal Clerk Patricia Leasure and Deputy Borough Clerk/Registrar Marguerite Nemeth received honorable mention in the 2009 Municipal Public Information Contest open to all municipalities in New Jersey. The contest was designed to raise public awareness of government operations through a print or electronic medium. Leasure and Nemeth entered the 2010 Borough Calendar that is filled with meeting dates and reminders about information important to Franklin residents, like recycling information, garbage collection rules, tax reminders, recreation information, pet and marriage license applications and department phone numbers.
