Fitz Way dedication Saturday

Ogdensburg A street will be temporarily renamed in honor of Patrick Fitzgibbons, who has been named the grand marshall for the upcoming Sussex County St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Council Way in Ogdensburg will be renamed Fitz Way for the month of March. A dedication and unveiling of the sign are scheduled to take place on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 11:30 a.m. Council Way is the roadway and parking area surrounding Ogdensburg’s municipal building. Funds for the sign came from county freeholder, Phil Crabb. As a lifelong resident and prominent figure of Ogdensburg, Fitzgibbons is being acknowledged for his record of service to the community.
