Financial workshop at college

Newton — A two-day seminar, Build Your Financial Model & Valuation of Early Stage Companies, will be held at Sussex County Community College on Thursday, Oct. 8 and Friday, Oct. 9. The seminar is offered by North Jersey Partners, in association with the New Jersey Center for Innovation Acceleration and will cover all the key aspects of developing a financial model which is defensible to all types of investors. Attendees will build their own model, make the assumptions, learn about P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements, and apply valuation techniques for their business. The workshop is presented by the Globecon Group, a provider of professional development for corporate and investment banking institutions. Registration is $50 per participant.
