Family act of kindness

Rachael Mardrus, 8, and her brother, Corey Mardrus, 6, of Stockholm, attended Butler Applebee’s Breakfast with Santa fundraiser to benefit the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation. The event has been held each December for the past 10 years at all Long Island and Northern and Central New Jersey Applebee’s. Every penny goes directly to the Marine Corps to purchase gifts for underprivileged children in a local community.
