proposed $13.3m school bond The three charts on this page were prepared by The Advertiser-News using figures supplied by the Vernon Township Board of Eduction. They show the estimated annual cost of the district's total debt service, including bonds already outstanding, the additional annual cost of debt service on the proposed issue and the cumulative increase or decrease in additional taxes over the 20-year life of the bond. The district's auditor said the figures are a high estimate based on interest rates a percentage point higher than current rates. The figures also do not take into account new ratables coming on line, including the construction at Mountain Creek. With the Intrawest development, the auditor said, taxes will decline more rapidly than in the charts. All figures are for an average home in Vernon, which is assessed at $122,000.
