Earthfest bigger than ever

Vernon — This year Vernon Earthfest celebrates its 10th year. The event has grown, with companies such as United Water, Mountain Creek Association and Extreme Energy Solutions among the businesses offering their versions of solutions to creating a sustainable environment. Approximately 70 vendors will be on hand, offering goods and services; many that will provide tips on being “green” in the home and the workplace. Beyond that, the event will include more than 20 different performances, seminars and exhibits geared to people of all ages. The program begins at 11 a.m. Sunday, April 25 and concludes at 4 p.m. at Mountain Creek’s South Lodge, off Route 94. Admission is free as well as all other entertainment.
