HAMBURGnHamburg Public School is joining schools and organizations nationwide collecting school supplies to forward to schools that were hit by hurricanes Katrina and Rita. These “Resource Kits,” as they are referred to by School Principal Jeanette Ericsson and Superintendent Bob McCann, will include notebooks, colored paper, pencils, pencil sharpener, pens, crayons, rulers, scissors, glue, paints and brushes, and personal items including soap, washcloth, toothbrush and toothpaste, and socks. Teacher kits include writing paper, art paper, masking tape, clear tape, pencils, pencil sharpener, ruler, pens, world map, scissors, chalk, tape measure, glue, dictionary, and a calculator.
