Cutting for a cause

The Schappert sisters of Lafayette, Mikayla, 11, and Erin, 7, wanted to donate their hair to Locks of Love and decided that Christmas Eve was the perfect time for their donation. They went to SouthSide Salon in Lake Hopatcong for their hair cuts. Mikayla’s hair was so long and thick that the beauticians were able to get two pony tails from it. Between the girls, a total of three pony tails was donated. Their mother Laura reports that they were so happy and couldn’t stop smiling because they knew they would be going to great use.
