Course for job seekers offered

    Newton — The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Sussex County will sponsor a free four-session course entitled “How to Sell Yourself” for people who are searching for their next job. Classes will meet on Feb. 10, 12, 17, and 19, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m, at the Unitarian Fellowship, One West Nelson St., in Newton. Information will include practical ways to find job leads, how to obtain job interviews, useful interviewing and negotiating techniques, the role of the resume in a job search, and how to use the Internet and other tools to carry out a successful job search. The course was originally developed by the Sales Executive Club of New York City and has been updated for the Internet age. It is intended for those seeking professional level jobs, including recent college graduates. It will be taught by Wayne Daniel, a retired Wall Street analyst and economist, who has taught the course several times over the past 20 years. Class size is limited to 20 people.
