The Council of the Borough of Ogdensburg accepted the resignation of Councilman Mark Batty, who will be relocating within the county.  Mayor Jacqueline Piertrodangelo presented him with a clock inscribed, "With appreciation for five years of service and commitment to the residents of Ogdensburg."  Batty thanked the board, saying he will miss working with them, and added, "I hope I made a difference." The borough's Republican Committee will choose three candidates to fill the vacancy, and the council will pick one of them later this month.
