Clothing store offers holiday collection

NEWTON — PB&J is expanding its store space and adding new lines of casual wear, as well as offering the well-established Carlisle Collection Quarterly Trunk Shows to its already varied line of fine handbags, scarves, jewelry and other accessories. The holiday collection, offering a full array of styles and colors, will be available beginning on Friday, Nov. 13 through Wednesday, Nov. 18. “We have been delightfully surprised and even a bit overwhelmed by the positive public response since we opened in June,” says Sara Megletti, owner of PB&J Stores. “We’re very excited about the prospects for this holiday season so we are adding new lines and more floor space.” PB&J Stores enjoys its participation in The SpringBoard Shoppes at Newton and is partnering with the other stores to present special events including “The Art of Holiday Fashion,” a runway show, on Nov. 14 at 3 p.m. in the store lobby and a book signing “meet and greet” afterwards with Amy Ferris, author of “Marrying George Clooney: Confessions From A Midlife Crisis.” The store is located at 145 Spring Street, in Newton.
