Church expands and dedicates new building
More classroom space, a cafe and a 750-seat sanctuary Hardyston Pastors Tom and Diane Feola welcomed their families, congregation, community and area church leaders to dedicate Christian Faith Fellowship Church’s new building on Route 94. There were over 550 in attendance. “What began 15 years ago with 17 people in a Wantage living room has grown to thousands in our new sanctuary in Hardyston,” said Pastor Tom. “We gathered together, not just to dedicate this building, but the body of this church; to celebrate what God has done.” The new building was designed to meet the needs of the whole family and includes a larger, 750-seat sanctuary that is equipped with state-of-the art sound, video and lighting; much needed classroom space for children, teens and adults; an expanded book store and a new café. This is CFFCs second expansion on the Route 94 site, which began in 2006 and was completed in time for the church to celebrate its first service on Christmas Eve 2008. The keynote speaker of the evening was Pastor Joe McKelvey, Senior Pastor of Christian Faith Fellowship Family Church in Middletown, N.Y. Other speakers during the evening’s event included Abe VanWingerden, vice chairman of the board, Atlantic Stewardship Bank; Pastor Lynn McKelvey, Christian Faith Fellowship Family Church, Middletown, N.Y.; the Rev. Bob Buse, international director, Faith Christian Fellowship International; Pastor Jim Petrow, House on the Rock Family Church, Wind Gap, Pa.; Pastor Fogel, retired Pastor of Calvary Temple, Wayne, N.J.; and Pastors Kenny and Karen Adams, Byram Bay Church, Hopatcong. Among the highlights of the evening were a skit put on by the drama team and an emotional video featuring church members sharing how God and CFFC have changed their lives. “Every day, lives are changed for the better through God’s grace, prayer, and the faithfulness of this church body,” said Pastor Tom. “This is just a small example of what God has done. Some of our members have gone out to begin their own churches. Others have been led to the mission fields.
